Cheryl graduated with a Diploma of Acupuncture from a 3 year study program at the Canadian College of Chinese Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine which included over 2200 hours of study and internship. Cheryl is a member of the Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association of Canada. She has treated a number of ailments ranging from musculoskeletal disorders, women’s health issues, migraine headaches, digestive issues, weight issues, addictive behaviours, pain management, and psychological disorders such as anxiety and depression. Cheryl is also certified in Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation. She believes Chinese Medicine can have a profound effect on both the physical body and emotional well-being, and aims to find balance through acupuncture, exercise, diet and lifestyle changes. As a Mom of three children Cheryl welcomes paediatric patients into her family inclusive practice.
Cheryl was athletic growing up, competing in soccer and dance. Cheryl has been teaching dance for more than 18 years at a competitive level and is a Certified Personal Trainer with Can-Fit Pro. She is a fitness enthusiast and competed in fitness competitions on both a Provincial and National level. She believes in taking care of your body on the physical, mental and emotional level.
